Sports-‘‘To be a great champion you must believe you are the best, if you are not; keep on trying.’’

The domain of sports has the vast potential to ‘’better’’the game of life itself. Besides promoting physical fitness, it lays importance on healthy lifestyle and helps in developing social skills. Sports play a pivotal role in instilling among our impressionable learners values that would hold them in good stead throughout their lives, such as, discipline, team spirit and sportsmanship .Our students participated in various championship tournaments at district, state and national level and made us proud. There has been an increase in participation and achievements in skating, Taekwondo, football outside the school arena , such as interschool , state level , national level events.

CBSE National Shooting Competition 2023: The victory adds another feather to the school at Social Baluni Public School, Dehradun.The young masters of RIFLE SHOOTING OF Delhi Public School, Daulatpur showcased this skill in the CBSE National Shooting Competition 2023-24,held at Social Baluni Public School, Dehradun. Our Rifle shooters Rudransh Nagyan Abhishek Singh, Shourya Pratap Singh Bohra , Kartik Thakur and Ananya Rawat under the disciplined training of the coach cleared the Zonal Round and Proudly marched forward to bag the shine of the Silver Medals on their chest. Their Precision,focus,and Teamwork were instrumental in achieving this remarkable feat, showing the schools commitment to excellence in sports.

The joys and benefits of experiential learning can never be overlooked. The school has a wide range of clubs that promote learning by combining recreational and educational factors representing interdisciplinary approaches to learning, the carefully selected activities of the clubs, focus on the entire gamut of development of learners in a cohesive manner.Various Co-Curricular Activities are held under different Clubs to develop a child physically, morally, socially and mentally and to hone skills in co-scholastic areas. The different Clubs are Eco Club, Heritage Club, Health and Hygiene Club, Anti Harassement Club.

Health and Hygiene club members planned a visit to Vatsalya Vatika, Haridwar to donate the things contributed by our students. Quality time was spent by interacting and having fun with the little ones of Vatsalya Vatika.It was good to see the children smiling and laughing. Children enjoyed playing games with the club members.

Educational trip

Grips were organized by providing a conducive and encouraging environment and expanding learning through experience.An educational Trip to Dev Sanskriti University was organized for the students of class XII on 07 October 2023.

A visit to COER University, Roorkee was organized for the students of class XII on 28th December,2023.

6th Inter School Creative Art and Craft Competition ‘Kalangan’-2023-24 was held on 4th Nov 2023 for the 6th time successfully. The event received an over whelming response of participation of many schools across Haridwar. All the participants along with their escort teachers were welcomed by our Respected Principal Ms. Poonam Shrivastava.The event aimed to encourage students to express their artistic talents while fostering an appreciation for the beauty and importance of nature in our lives. The event included various platform for children to showcase their talent they were divided into 4 different Categories classes 1 and 2 Drawing and Colouring on Any Theme classes 3 and 4 festival scene, Folk Painting, Children’s Day ,Chandrayaan. Classes 6 to 12 Earthen Pot Painting , Canvas painting, Mehndi Design and so on. The Competition was evaluated by a panel of judges and Art teachers. Our Principal motivated and congratulated all the participants.

Investiture Ceremony 2023-24

“This investiture is a reminder of the trust and confidence placed in me, and I will strive to exceed all expectations’’. Having this committed thought in mind, the students of DPS Daulatpur marched forward on 18th November 2023 for the investiture ceremony which was held in school in school premises. The elected students were bestowed upon with responsibilities. They received badges and sashes from the chief guest. SCHOLAR BADGES were also awarded to high achievers of various classes for excellence in academics.

Quiz Contests

To cope up with this competitive society it is necessary for our students to get updated with current affairs, plenty of Quiz contest were conducted to develop their general knowledge and intellectuality. ‘Believe it, Achieve it’Archery is a mental Training program. It helps students succeed in life and gain confidence .Students are given professional training in this sport as a part of school activity. Mani and Anshul, students of DPS Daulatpur, have brought home glory by securing silver and bronze medals at the Indoor Archery Championship held in pune .The prestigious event, organized by the Field Archery Association of India, took place at the Lt. Rajaram Bhiku Pathare Stadium in Kharadi.

Cultural Fiesta 2023- ‘Pravaah 2.0’ The Flow of Life.

DPS Daulatpur celebrated Cultural Fiesta 2023-‘Pravaah 2.0’the flow of life on Friday,1st December 2023.This extravanganza was filled with mesmerizing performances by the students of the school. The programme commenced with the lightining of the lamp by the distinguished Chief Guest, Captain Akhilesh Saxena,a decorated Kargil war Veteran and Vice President of Global Operations at Tata Communications along with his better half Mrs. Sakshi Saxena.The evening kickstarted with welcome song and musical extravaganza by the school choir ‘Rockers’students showcased their talents by performing on various items like ‘ Yaadon ka Karawaan’,Techno –Embezzlement-Takneek ek Dhuvidha’,life journey of Aadi Shankracharya,A thrilling act of women empowerment’ Kahaani Nari ke Samman ki’ and many more.It was a grand success.

A sweet Ending to a New Beginning- class 12 farewell –DESPEDIDA

On 9th Feb 2024,the farewell event –DESPEDIDA at DPS Daulatpur commenced with the theme symbolizing the farewell journey of the class 12 students. Throughout the event, students engaged in various games, fostering camaraderie and laughter among peers. The prestigious titles included Mr. DPS Daulatpur and Ms.DPS Daulatpur was conferred upon Yashavi Yadav and Akansha Chauhan. Principal Maam graced the occasion with her presence, offering words of wisdom and encouragement to the graduating class.

Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony:

An annual prize distribution ceremony was conducted for all the students of classes I-XII for their deserving performances in academics, cultural activities and sports. Certificates and Trophies were awarded to the students by Our Respected Pro Vice Chairman Sir Mr.Vikas Goyal as he graced the occasion with his presence .He encouraged , motivated and congratulated all the students for their hardwork and dedication.
