                                                               ANNUAL REPORT   (2020-2021)

“Every cloud has a silver lining”. And we made this lining a golden one for us. Yes, Delhi Public School, Daulatpur believes in holding on to the lining by casting away the clouds of despair or hindrances. With the online classes going on in full swing, the community learning classes were also taken up with the same zeal and zest, to provide our children and ourselves a boost of energy and happiness.

“It is not the strongest of the species that survives ,nor the most intelligent; it is the one most adapatable to change”.Technology cannot replace great teachers .However technology in the hands of great teachers can be a transformation. Classroom teaching was partially taken away by virtual teaching .

Our actions are the ground we walk on.We transcended all boundaries and won laurels.Our school was selected and won the National Roller Sports Championship held in Chandigarh on 7 March,2021 Krishna Chauhan of class VIII A, Ayush Khanaie of Class VB, Bhavya Pratap of Class VIB, and Aarush Pal of Class IV A Badge medals for their outstanding performance. To raise the banner of our institution high, is the crowning glory for our champs. And they have done us proud

We are proud to report that 2020-21 our second batch of Std X Students have bought laurels to the school by their excellent results .We achieved 100% results in CBSE Examination.This was possible because of the continuous efforts by the dedicated staff even during this pandemic nothing could stop them from teaching. It helped and supported the students to put in their best.

Adding on to one more laurel to DPS Daulatpur,Aishwarya Bohra, the student of class X –A was selected among the top twelve students in the Drawing Competition organised by ‘The Times of India ‘in association with ‘ Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency’(UREDA).

Students from classes 6 to 10 from all over Uttarakhand participated in this initiative.Out of the total entries, best 12 paintings were selected .These 12 students were awarded Certificates of Appreciation by TOI and UREDA.The 12 selected paintings will be featured in different month leafs’of the “Calendar2021”with the child’s name,class and school name.

The felicitation Ceremony was blessed by the presence of the honourable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand at the Chief Minister’s House Auditorium, Dehradun on 14 December,2020.

Events and celebrations: We did not let anything , even the pandemic, for that matter, come between us and our passion to stay fit and achieve our goals

The Investiture Ceremony was conducted with great pomp and our students’ leaders were blessed to have their badges pinned on to them by their proud Principal and Management. All of us witnessed this with pride.

All the activities were conducted with the click of the mouse. Technology paved its way making us innovate and our activities to a different level. Safety has always been our norm.Social distancing did not keep us away from being active

School clubs also played their role actively and School houses too. Different competitions were organized by the houses e.g. Dance competition, Singing competition, and Quiz competition.

OLYMPIAD: Students participated in Science, English,Maths and G.K. Olympiad virtually.

Prize Distribution Ceremony was held class wise to boost the confidence level and motivate the students during the time of crisis. It was a proud feeling to get connected with the students at the school campus. As their smiles and gestures reflected a lot.
